According to the guidelines of President, SGPC, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami and Secretary, Education, Engineer Sukhminder Singh, Guru Nanak College, Batala today organised an Orientation Programme for the newly admitted students to mark the commencement of the new academic session. The programme aimed to familiarise the students with the institution’s core values, disciplined environment, and the wide range of academic and co-curricular opportunities available on campus.
Programme Coordinator Ms. Navtej Kaur welcomed the newly admitted students. Addressing the gathering, she urged them to pursue academic excellence with dedication, uphold ethical values, maintain discipline, and cultivate a positive outlook.
Principal Dr. Charanjit Singh explained all the facilities available in the college and motivated the students to make the best use of them for their education. Dr. Gurbir Singh briefed the students about religious activities. Dr. Mandeep Kaur enlightened the students about the placement facilities provided by SGPC. Finally, Dr. Harmeet Kaur delivered the vote of thanks and conveyed her best wishes to the students for their bright future.
The Orientation Programme concluded with a favourable response from the students. All the faculty members and staff were present on the occasion. The programme proved to be an inspiring and informative beginning for the students.
